Yves Gallard is a multidisciplinary artist, muralist and sign

painter based in Brussels.

Born in the South of France, where he discovered the art of

graffiti and its nocturnal joys. He soon became interested in the world of letters and their geometry, and went on to study printing and graphic design before specialising in experimental graphic design in Brussels. Through those years, he discovered many tools and manual techniques and developed his creativity and thirst for crafting. At the end of his studies, he turned to brushes and painting and founded, with Nadège Féron, a duo named Indexpouce, specialised in sign painting, realisation of murals and painted installations. From 2020, Yves has focused on a personal approach to his graphic universes, passionately exploring the spectrum of creation. He builds a world made of geometry, perspectives, wefts and shadows with, as a guideline, the valorization of artistic and artisanal techniques.
